The Fire Magic Aurora A790i with Window is a 38-inch built-in natural gas or propane grill with a hood window for viewing food while cooking.

Built for Larger Outdoor Kitchen Projects

The Aurora A790i with Window gives homeowners a wider built-in gas grill with 792 sq. in. of primary cooking space. Its 36" x 22" cooking area works well for family dinners, outdoor entertaining, and multi-zone grilling.

The grill uses cast stainless-steel burners, stainless-steel flavor grids, and Diamond Sear cooking grids. These components support direct heat transfer across the cooking surface while helping protect the burners from cooking drippings.

Windowed Hood for Easier Monitoring

The Magic View Window allows you to check food with the hood closed. This is useful when monitoring larger cuts, rotisserie cooking on equipped models, or recipes that benefit from fewer lid openings.

The A790i Window is available with or without a backburner. Backburner-equipped models support rotisserie cooking when used with the proper rotisserie components.

Installation Options

The Aurora A790i with Window is a built-in outdoor gas grill designed for installation into a properly constructed outdoor kitchen enclosure.

The manufacturer specifies a cutout of 37" W x 23 1/2" D x 11 1/2" H. The enclosure must follow Fire Magic’s requirements for clearance, ventilation, drainage, gas supply, and structural support.

This grill is for outdoor use only. Installation must follow local codes and the manufacturer’s installation manual. Natural gas and propane configurations require the correct gas supply, regulator, and orifices for the selected fuel type.

Electrical power is required for the ignition, interior lights, and control lighting systems. Fire Magic specifies 100–240 VAC input power, 50/60 Hz, 1.90A maximum, connected to a GFCI outlet.

Controls & Features

The Aurora A790i with Window includes three main burners and a hot surface ignition system. Fire Magic also provides a secondary manual lighting method in the owner’s manual.

Diamond Sear stainless steel cooking grids sit above stainless steel flavor grids. The flavor grids help distribute heat and shield the burners from drippings during cooking.

The grill includes an analog thermometer in the hood, two interior halogen lights, backlit control knobs, LED control disks, and a Magic View Window. A slide-out drip tray supports routine cleaning.

Or, whip up breakfast, tacos, or fried rice with a Stainless Steel or Cast Iron Griddle. You can also add a delicious smoky flavor to your food with a charcoal/smoker basket, all while enjoying the convenience of a gas grill. And for those who are excited to use the rotisserie, a turkey holder or chicken holder may come in handy. The rotisserie basket is great for roasting smaller foods like skewers, fish, or pork loin.

Add a grilling tray to prevent smaller foods from slipping in through the cooking grids. A warming rack extender is also available for those who want a wider warming rack.

Foil Drip Tray Liners, a Wood Scraper, and a BBQ Cleaner make cleaning your grill much easier. If you don't have grill tools yet, you may want to add a 4-Piece Tool Set and also a grid/lid lifter to easily access the smoker basket.
