Both. This collection carries electric models across the Platinum, Tungsten, Cobalt, and Eclipse series, plus gas models in the Platinum and Tungsten lines that run on either liquid propane or natural gas.

Can Bromic heaters be mounted on a ceiling?

Yes. Most models in this collection mount to a wall or a ceiling, and several also support flush mounting into a ceiling recess using the matching recess kit. A portable gas model and a portable electric model are free standing instead and need no mounting at all.

Are Bromic heaters weatherproof?

They are built for covered outdoor use rather than full exposure. The Platinum electric range and the ceiling mounted Eclipse carry an IP54 rating, the Tungsten dual and single element models are rated IPx4, and the remaining models are splash resistant. Install under cover and follow Bromic clearance requirements.

Which Bromic series is best for a commercial space?

Every model in this collection is commercial grade. Tungsten delivers the widest wall of heat for large footprints, Platinum suits design led spaces where low clearance and minimal light emission matter, and Eclipse doubles as a dimmable LED light. The Platinum electric models are also marine rated for coastal installations.

Do Bromic heaters need professional installation?

The hardwired electric models and the fixed gas models do. They connect directly to your electrical or gas supply and must be installed by a licensed electrician or gas fitter. The portable gas and portable electric models require no installation and are ready to use out of the box.

What warranty comes with a Bromic heater?

Coverage varies by model. The Platinum electric range carries three years commercial and five years marine, the Tungsten electric models carry two years, and the ceiling mounted Eclipse carries one year. Check the individual product page for the exact term that applies.
