Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ Installation
There are three different installation options for Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ heaters:
1. Portable.
No installation is required for Bromic TungstenSmart-Heat™ Portable Gas Heater.
2. Wall or ceiling mounted:
- Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ Electric Heaters can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, flush-mounted in a ceiling with a flush mounting kit, or dropped down from a ceiling with chains or a tube suspension kit.
- Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ Overhead Gas Heaters can also be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Installation needs to be done by a licensed and authorized technician in accordance with local building codes.
Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ Heater Controls
Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ portable gas heater has an adjustable heat control knob on the head of the unit.
Controls For Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat™ Electric and Gas Heaters:
- Portable Wireless On/Off Switch allows you to simply turn unit(s) on and off from up to 100 feet away. Can control 2 electric or up to 4 gas heaters.
- Home Automation Plug-In lets you control your electric or gas heaters in your home automation system. It transmits the commands from your wireless controls to your home automation system, allowing you to turn your heaters on or off in one place. You can adjust the heat level for Electric Heaters from 1 to 100%; this feature is unavailable for gas heating.
Controls For Electric Heaters Only:
- Portable Wireless Dimmer Switch - allows you to control the amount of heat provided by one or two electric heaters by "dimming" it to a specific percentage, 0 to 100% from up to 100 feet away using the 7-button remote.
- Master Remote only works with dimmer controllers. This optional remote can be mounted on the wall and comes with the necessary hardware to do so. It is designed for zone heating making it a lot easier to control groups of heaters.
