Balanced Proportions for the Outdoor Kitchen

The Ovation 42 brings the polished design language of AMG's Estate Series to a wider Hybrid platform. Its #304 stainless steel exterior, clean control panel, and substantial hood give the grill an architectural presence without moving to the larger 54-inch format.

With 1,315 square inches of total cooking surface, the 42-inch configuration sits between the 36- and 54-inch Ovation models. This balanced footprint provides additional cooking room while maintaining the streamlined character of the Ovation Series.

Multi-Fuel Cooking Across a Larger Surface

Six 22,000 BTU main burners provide 132,000 BTU of combined main-burner output. AMG's patented fuel trays allow the same cooking platform to accommodate Natural Gas or Liquid Propane along with wood and charcoal.

The Hybrid system allows gas to assist with lighting solid fuel before cooking continues over the established wood or charcoal fire. A dedicated rotisserie back burner further expands the available cooking methods.

Installation Options

The OVA42 is designed for built-in installation within an outdoor kitchen island. Installation should follow American Made Grills requirements for the specified island cutout, combustible clearances, enclosure ventilation, gas supply, and electrical connections.

A separate freestanding Ovation 42 configuration is also available from AMG. The cart-based version provides mobility, storage, and preparation space while retaining the Ovation Hybrid cooking system.

Controls & Features

Six individually controlled 22,000 BTU stainless steel main burners provide the primary gas heat, while Flame Thrower ignition handles burner startup. Patented fuel trays beneath the cooking surface accommodate solid fuel for wood and charcoal cooking.

Reversible V-shaped cooking grates provide the primary grilling surface, while heat-zone separators help organize foods across different cooking areas. Adjustable hood vents provide airflow control within the cooking chamber.

Interior halogen lights illuminate the cooking surface, while LED lighting above the control knobs improves visibility at the front panel. The grill also incorporates a rotisserie back burner for an additional cooking method.

Optional Accessories: Drop-In Sear Burner, Griddle Plate, Grill Cart, and Grill Liner
