The Fire Magic Aurora A830i is a 52-inch built-in natural gas or propane combo grill with separate gas and charcoal cooking zones for flexible outdoor cooking.

The Aurora A830i is designed for homeowners who want the speed of gas grilling and the flavor control of charcoal cooking in one built-in appliance. The gas side handles everyday grilling with cast stainless steel burners, while the charcoal side adds a dedicated live-fire cooking area.
This layout gives families more flexibility without requiring two separate built-in grills. Use the gas burners for weeknight meals, the charcoal side for wood or charcoal cooking, or both zones at the same time when cooking for a group.
Built for Control, Visibility, and Everyday Use
Fire Magic equips the Aurora A830i with Diamond Sear cooking grids, analog hood thermometers, interior oven lights, and backlit control knobs. These details help make the grill easier to use when managing different foods across two fuel zones.
The charcoal side includes a charcoal/wood feed door and an adjustable charcoal pan. The gas side includes two cast stainless steel burners, and select configurations may include a recessed infrared backburner for rotisserie-style cooking when used with the proper rotisserie components.
Installation Options
The Aurora A830i is a built-in outdoor combo grill designed for installation into a properly constructed outdoor kitchen enclosure.
The manufacturer specifies a cutout of 50 1/4" W x 19 1/2" D x 11 1/2" H. The enclosure must follow Fire Magic’s clearance, ventilation, drainage, gas-supply, and electrical requirements.
This grill is for outdoor use only. Installation must follow local codes and the manufacturer’s installation manual. Natural gas and propane configurations require the correct gas supply setup, regulator, and orifices for the selected fuel type.
Electrical power is required for the ignition, lighting, and control lighting systems. Fire Magic specifies 100–240 VAC input power, 50/60 Hz, 1.90A maximum, connected to a GFCI outlet.
Controls & Features
The Aurora A830i includes independent cooking zones for gas and charcoal grilling. The gas side uses two cast stainless steel burners with Diamond Sear cooking grids and flavor grids. The charcoal side includes a charcoal burner, adjustable charcoal pan, charcoal screen, and feed door for adding charcoal or wood.
Two analog thermometers help monitor hood temperatures across the cooking zones. Interior halogen lights improve visibility inside the grill, while backlit knobs and illuminated flame icons help show burner status.
The grill also includes hot surface ignition and a secondary manual lighting method as described in the manufacturer’s manual. A slide-out drip tray and charcoal drip tray support routine cleaning.

For those who are excited to use the rotisserie, a turkey holder or chicken holder may come in handy. The rotisserie basket is great for roasting smaller foods like skewers, fish, or pork loin.
