Recommendations:

The outside air kit must be installed with an insulated/uninsulated flex duct. For fireplaces installed in uncovered areas, a drain pan is required to prevent moisture from accumulating.

With the Freestanding kit, this fireplace does not need to be recessed into walls. It comes with an extended smoke shelf, allowing the venting to be reduced below the required minimum.

US installations must use the SL1100 series chimney.
