These Timber Stoves pellets provide the fuel behind that experience using Douglas Fir wood fiber without chemical additives. Each bag contains 40 lb of premium-grade pellet fuel for compatible pellet-burning equipment.
Thoughtful Material Handling from the Start
The wood fiber used to produce the pellets comes from Frank Lumber's sawmilling and planning operations. Before pellet production, the raw material is kept inside bunkers and buildings to protect it from contact with dirt and debris.
The finished fuel has a documented heating value of 8,353 BTU per pound, with ash below 0.25% and fines below 0.5%. Timber Stoves also specifies low moisture, chloride, and sodium content.
Installation Options
There is no framing, permanent installation, electrical connection, or dedicated venting requirement for the pellets themselves because they are a consumable fuel.
Pellets should be loaded and used according to the instructions provided with the compatible pellet-burning appliance. Any placement, clearance, ventilation, and installation requirements are determined by that appliance rather than the fuel.
