The Timber Stoves Revere is an 18-inch freestanding outdoor heater fueled by wood pellets, combining non-electric operation with three-sided views of an enclosed flame.

A Striking Centerpiece for Outdoor Gatherings

The Revere pairs a tall stainless steel profile with three large glass viewing panels, allowing the natural flame to remain visible from multiple seating positions. Its clean architectural shape gives patios, decks, and outdoor entertaining areas a distinctive focal point without relying on a traditional propane tank.

As the stainless steel is heated, the surface naturally develops shades of gold, purple, blue, and green. This heat patina gradually gives each heater an individual, lived-in appearance while complementing its industrial outdoor design.

Wood-Fired Heat Without Electrical Power

A gravity-fed pellet system supplies fuel to the firepot without motors, fans, or an electrical connection. Draft created through the stove pipe supports combustion, making the heater suitable for outdoor areas where access to electricity may be limited.

The 25-pound hopper provides approximately 2.5 hours of operation when filled with suitable wood pellets. The hopper can also be refilled while the heater is operating, helping extend outdoor gatherings without completely restarting the fire.

Designed to Share Warmth Across the Patio

The Revere is rated at 90,000 BTUs and provides a maximum heating radius of approximately 12 feet. Actual heat output and burn performance depend on pellet quality, weather conditions, heater maintenance, and outdoor placement. Timber Stoves recommends softwood pellets rated at 8,000 BTUs per pound or higher.

Three 7.5-by-14.5-inch viewing windows display the enclosed flame while allowing radiant heat to reach seating areas around the heater. The lower firebox position also keeps the visual focus closer to seated guests.

Installation and Placement

The Revere is a freestanding outdoor heater that requires partial assembly. The firebox, hopper, stove-pipe sections, top reflector, spark arrestor, glass panels, and other supplied components must be assembled according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

No fixed electrical connection, propane connection, gas line, chimney, or permanent venting system is required. Combustion draft is created through the heater’s own stove pipe.

Place the heater on a stable, level, noncombustible surface. When used on a wood or composite deck, Timber Stoves requires a suitable grill mat or heat-protection pad beneath the heater.

Covered outdoor areas must have adequate ventilation. Maintain at least 3 feet of clearance between the top reflector and combustible materials above the heater. Additional local fire, building, and outdoor-burning regulations may apply.

Controls and Operating Features

The Revere uses manual controls rather than electronic settings. A front damper dial adjusts airflow to increase or decrease the operating temperature. Timber Stoves states that the damper can change the temperature by approximately 250 degrees.

The supplied shutoff key slides into the horizontal opening at the base of the hopper to stop additional pellets from entering the firepot. After the pellet supply is stopped, the remaining fuel must be allowed to burn completely before the heater is considered extinguished.

The heater must burn wood pellets only. Standard firewood, logs, charcoal, and other solid fuels are not approved for use in the Revere.
