The best angle to install this heater is approximately 45º. If installed outdoors, it is best to install it at the "cold side" for efficient heating and under a protective roof or weather cover, whenever possible. Even with its all-weather construction, your heater will last longer and look better if it is protected from rain and snow.

The InFratech WD series is awesome, We recessed them with the flush mounted kit and they look awesome. We are super pleased and would definitely recommend this product and buy again for our next home.
My husband and I love to sit on our patio, even more so now because of these heaters. We now get to spend more time on the patio, even when mornings and evenings are chilly. Each of these heats an 8x8 area. They are very well made and have a cool industrial look. We needed 2 for proper coverage on our patio. You can run both elements on the heater or turn one off, depending on how much heat you need. We had a professional electrician install these (he ran wiring from our circuit box up through the attic and out onto the patio cover. We bought the Infratech Dual Duplex Stack Switch, Surface Mount Control W/Weatherproof Cover, 14-4325 to go with these. We are more than happy with our purchase!
Very happy so far! Purchased two, front porch and rear pergola. We have spent many evening hours this fall warmed by these quality units. It is very comfortable if the ambient temp is 45 and up and the breeze is less than 7-8 mph. Wind over 12 is a non-starter for any outdoor heating option. I will reserve the final assessment until after I get the electric bill. Install by an electrician with 2 long 240 runs and conduit cost about what the units cost.

We have 2 installed on our patio. They work well but installation is a bit difficult by your self and we ended up having them professionally installed
