A Propane Pyramid Patio Heater With a Real Flame Column
The SUNHEAT Pyramid in Golden Hammered is a portable propane patio heater shaped like a tall, four-sided pyramid, with a live flame climbing a glass tube up its center. It runs on the same tank as your grill, hidden inside the base, and needs no gas line and no electricity. It rolls on wheels, so it can follow the seating instead of the other way around.
40,000 BTU Warms a Circle About 12 Feet Across
SUNHEAT rates it at 40,000 BTU across a circle up to 12 feet in diameter, roughly 113 square feet. In practice that is one seating group: a sofa and a couple of chairs, or a table for a small dinner. Cold air and wind shrink that circle, and an open-flame heater like this one loses more of its warmth to a breeze than an overhead infrared heater does, because part of its heat rises with the hot air. Set it out of the wind where you can, and for a larger patio plan on a second heater rather than expecting one to cover everything.
Up to 10 Hours From One 20 lb Tank, Out of Sight

A standard 20 lb propane cylinder (not included) sits inside the base, behind the front panel, and SUNHEAT rates it at up to 10 hours with the heater on high. A variable control knob takes the flame from low to high, and turning it down makes the same tank last longer. One cold-weather note from the manual: below about 40°F, a tank that is under a quarter full can't push enough gas, and the flame runs low. Swap in a full tank and it comes back.
A Push-Button Igniter Lights It, and Wheels Move It
Turn on the tank, hold the control knob in, and press the igniter until you see the pilot through the glass tube. The first time you light it, and after every tank change, SUNHEAT has you hold the knob in for two minutes to purge air from the line, then wait five minutes before lighting. A long-stem lighter comes in the box as a backup. The base rolls on wheels, and on a windy deck you can fill it with sand to hold the heater steady.
Best for Warming and Lighting Up One Seating Group
This heater is for evenings outside where the flame matters as much as the warmth. Picture a backyard patio or deck with a sofa, a few chairs or a small dining table. It warms the people sitting there and gives them a glowing centerpiece to gather around. Because it runs on a tank and rolls, it also works where a gas line or wiring isn't an option: a rental, a deck you don't want to drill into, or a space you rearrange for parties. SUNHEAT builds it to restaurant standards, so it holds up on a café terrace or at a business event too.
It is the wrong pick if you need to heat a large patio from one unit, if your space is usually windy, or if the area is enclosed. A large patio needs two or more heaters. In wind, a mounted infrared heater keeps working where an open flame struggles. An enclosed space can't take a propane heater at all. The hammered bronze-tone finish looks warmer and more traditional than steel. For a cleaner modern look, the same heater comes in stainless steel, and the SUNHEAT Triangle is a taller three-sided version with a larger reflector.
Give It 3 Feet of Space and Open Air Around It
It is an outdoor-only heater. It burns oxygen, so never run it in a garage, a screened or enclosed porch, or any space without open air. Keep anything that can burn at least 3 feet from the sides and 2 feet above the top. Under a roof, that means a ceiling at least 9 feet 5 inches high for this 89-inch heater. Check the hose for cuts or wear before each use, and have it inspected once a year. When the season ends, let it cool, disconnect the tank, and store it upright and covered, out of the rain. The tank stays outdoors and never goes in the garage.
