A More Architectural Expression of the Hybrid Grill

The Ovation 36 brings the polished front styling associated with AMG's Estate Series to a deeper Hybrid platform. Its clean #304 stainless steel exterior gives the grill a refined architectural character suited to contemporary outdoor kitchen designs.

At 36 inches, the Ovation offers a more compact footprint than the 42- and 54-inch models while retaining the core Hybrid cooking system. The balanced proportions make it easier to incorporate into moderately sized islands without giving up wood and charcoal capability.

Multiple Cooking Styles Within One Grill

Five 22,000 BTU main burners provide 110,000 BTU of total main-burner output, while the cooking surface measures 1,106 square inches. Patented fuel trays extend the platform beyond Natural Gas or Liquid Propane to support charcoal, hardwood, and other compatible solid fuels.

A dedicated rotisserie back burner adds another cooking method, while reversible V-shaped grates, heat-zone separators, and adjustable hood vents help organize different cooking techniques across the grill.

Installation Options

The Ovation 36 built-in grill is available in Natural Gas (OVA36-NG) and Liquid Propane (OVA36-LP) configurations. It is designed for integration into a properly constructed outdoor kitchen island. Installation must follow the manufacturer's requirements for cutout dimensions, clearances, enclosure ventilation, gas supply, and electrical connections.

A separate freestanding Ovation 36 configuration is also available from AMG. Its #304 stainless steel cart adds storage, side shelves for preparation, and mobility while retaining the Ovation Hybrid cooking platform.

Controls & Features

Five individually controlled 22,000 BTU main burners provide the primary gas heat, with Flame Thrower ignition used for burner startup. Patented fuel trays beneath the grates accommodate solid fuels when a wood- or charcoal-based cooking method is preferred.

Reversible 9-gauge V-shaped cooking grates provide the primary grilling surface, while #304 stainless steel heat-zone separators help establish different cooking areas. Adjustable hood vents provide airflow control within the cooking chamber.

Interior halogen cooking lights illuminate the grilling area, and LED lights above each control knob improve visibility at the front panel. The Ovation also incorporates an easy-clean drip pan with a drain system and built-in rotisserie spit storage.
