The Aurora A540i gives homeowners a built-in gas grill with a 30" x 18" primary cooking area. It fits outdoor kitchen projects that need a capable cooking surface without stepping up to a larger grill body.
The grill uses cast stainless-steel burners, stainless-steel flavor grids, and Diamond Sear cooking grids. These components support direct heat transfer while helping shield the burners from cooking drippings.
Practical Features for Everyday Grilling
Fire Magic equips the A540i with an analog hood thermometer, interior halogen lights, and backlit control knobs. These features help make the grill easier to monitor during daytime and evening cooking.
The A540i is available with or without a backburner. Backburner-equipped models support rotisserie cooking when used with the proper rotisserie components.
Installation Options
The Aurora A540i is a built-in outdoor gas grill designed for installation into a properly constructed outdoor kitchen enclosure.
The manufacturer specifies a cutout of 32" W x 19 1/2" D x 11 1/2" H. The enclosure must follow Fire Magic’s requirements for clearance, ventilation, drainage, gas supply, and structural support.
This grill is for outdoor use only. Installation must follow local codes and the manufacturer’s installation manual. Natural gas and propane configurations require the correct gas supply, regulator, and orifices for the selected fuel type.
Electrical power is required for the ignition, interior lights, and control lighting systems. Fire Magic specifies a powered ignition and lighting system. Use a properly installed GFCI-protected outdoor electrical connection as required by the manufacturer’s manual and local code.
If installed in a combustible enclosure, the correct Fire Magic insulating liner must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Controls & Features
The Aurora A540i includes three main burners and a hot surface ignition system. Fire Magic also provides a secondary manual lighting method in the owner’s manual.
Diamond Sear stainless steel cooking grids sit above stainless steel flavor grids. The flavor grids help distribute heat and protect the burners from drippings during cooking.
The grill includes an analog thermometer in the hood, interior halogen lights, backlit control knobs, and illuminated flame icons. A drip tray supports routine cleaning.
Select A540i configurations include a recessed backburner and rotisserie components. Confirm the exact SKU before listing those parts as included.
