The cage surrounds the heater body from its base to the upper section, creating a visible barrier between guests and the hot exterior. Stainless steel mesh maintains an open, architectural appearance that complements the tall profile of compatible Timber Stoves heaters.

Its open mesh construction allows radiant heat and flame views to pass through the enclosure rather than concealing the heater. The stainless steel finish is designed to retain its bright appearance instead of developing the heat patina seen on some heater surfaces.

Practical Access for Everyday Heater Use

A hinged front panel provides access to the heater after installation. This allows the operator to reach the firebox area while keeping the surrounding enclosure attached.

Double-wall corner sections add rigidity to the cage structure. The manufacturer also states that this design helps keep the cage corners cooler than the heater body during normal operation.

Installation and Compatibility

The Elite Safety Cage mounts directly around a compatible Timber Stoves patio heater. The manufacturer lists it as fitting its heater models and confirms that its outdoor heater lineup accepts the stainless safety cage. The patio heater is required and sold separately.

Some assembly is required. Installation involves assembling the lower panels around the middle baffle pan, sliding the lower cage onto the heater, attaching it to the base, and installing the upper panels, collar, hinged door, latch, and rear sections.

No framing, electrical connection, gas line, plumbing, or separate venting system is required for the cage. The heater’s stove pipe and spark arrestor must be installed as directed after the applicable cage sections are positioned.

Design and Access Features

The stainless steel mesh permits heat and flame visibility through the enclosure. A hinged lower front door provides access to the heater, while the horseshoe collar and middle baffle pan help position the upper and lower cage sections.

The cage has no independent controls, ignition system, or heat settings. All heater operation remains controlled through the compatible patio heater.
